BioElectronics Unveils Fourth Generation Family of Drug-Free Pain Relievers

New, Lighter and Water Resistant Products Optimized for Retail Marketplace

FREDERICK, MD.  June 19, 2013 — BioElectronics Corporation (OTC Pink: BIEL), the maker of advanced consumer medical devices, today announced its fourth generation of drug-free, anti-inflammatory medical devices.  The company said the new products are lighter and more shock and water resistant.

“We designed this new generation of product line specifically for the retail market,” said Andrew Whelan, BioElectronics President and CEO.  “Input from European retailers drove our design choices:  we added an integrated on/off switch, a more rigid, bounce-back insulation and a clear epoxy coating for better water resistance and durability.”

“The ActiPatch pain relief product line will be the first to market with the 4G features,” Whelan said.  “We significantly simplified the electronics to reduce size and weight while improving device reliability.  The simple push button on-off switch will make it easier for consumers to get the most use out of the 720 hour battery life.”

Packaging and brand management of the new products is being managed in Europe by Gro-International, SA, Geneva, Switzerland.   BioElectronics said it expects the new ActiPatch Therapy product to be on retail shelves in Europe in the fall.
